A Thrill Ride With a Twist
Captain Lane Cooley is reportedly the best homicide detective in the LAPD—she’s smart, capable, determined, hard working, well-respected by her colleagues, oh, and she happens to be Mormon. She doesn’t swear, drink, or smoke, believes in God and an afterlife—but she also believes in justice and catching bad guys.
With a serial killer on the loose, Lane is determined to put the murderer behind bars—but then things get personal . . . very personal. Lane’s younger sister becomes the killer’s latest target. When it comes to family, you don’t want to piss off a Mormon girl.
The story is filled with well-developed and colorful characters that help move the heart-pounding story at a breakneck speed. Lane’s religion colors her world, but she isn’t out to convert anyone, including the readers of this story. You might even find you appreciate her morals and standards, a tough thing to possess and keep for anyone in this day and age.
